Accomplishments

While volunteering as a thrift shop lead with NMCRS, I have supported the Operation Afghan Refugee through my expertise in donation processing.

I have put over 1000 volunteer hours with NMCRS managing the thrift shop and implementing new systems and designs, not limited to designing the store to be more efficient and creating a standard operating procedure for both the old and new location.

I was featured in Navy Times for building a community safety net and managing a facebook group that fosters community building w9thin Rota, Spain.

I was featured in Whidbey Island Times for building a community of babywearers and fostering a relationship between the local and military community.

I co-built a non profit in Whidbey Island (Island Birth Association) for help connect the local perinatal businesses and the growing families, military and local. I have organized two birth fairs (Birth, Bump and Beyond) in Whidbey Island to help disseminate information that relates to perinatal care and products.
