Motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow looking to further advance understanding in field of microbiology by conducting independent research into antimicrobial peptide design and synthesis. Proficient in microbiology and molecular biology technique, with advanced abilities in microscopic imaging and deep grasp of rigorous research procedures.

1. Antimicrobial Peptides: Peptide design, synthesis and characterization (Purification by RP-HPLC, Circular Dichroism, mass spectrometry), Antimicrobial, Anti-inflammatory and Anti biofilm activities.

2. Cell culture - Primary cell isolation, in vitro assays (Cell proliferation, Cell viability, Cytotoxicity assays, Cell differentiation study etc.)Handling adherent &non adherent cells (Raw264.7, NIH3t3, HeLa, HaCat), Cryo preserving, Lab sterilization techniques.

3. Microbiology- Preparing various types of differential & selective media for microbial cultures. Antibacterial testing, Plasmid DNA isolation, Cloning-Ligation, Competent cell preparation & Transformation, Confocal microscopy.

4. Immunology- ELISA, Rapid Card methods.

5. Molecular biology- DNA & RNA isolation from micro-organisms, cell lines, blood, saliva and tissue samples, Primer designing, Real Time PCR,Western Blotting, Synergy Effect, FasScan, DNA Binding assay.
