I worked as a researcher in the molecular diagnostic laboratory of Seoul National University Hospital for a year.
NGS test was performed on specimens from children with rare diseases. I mainly did WES and Sanger, and I experienced work such as RT-PCR with syphilis specimens.
And each researcher took the time to study and present NGS-related papers once a week in order every week. As a result, I was interested in researching various molecular diagnostic papers by myself.
While doing this work, I became very interested in NGS inspection and wanted to study properly.
I have a passion to learn various experiences and experiments at the Precision Medicine Innovation Research Institute of Samsung Medical Center. Furthermore, if I have a chance, I am looking forward to going to Sungkyunkwan University's Samsung Convergence Institute. Based on my experience and knowledge, I want to study more and become a passionate team and become a part of the laboratory.
