SK LOOKIE is a student venture incubation program run by SK Group that tackles social issues through business-driven solutions. Students engage in project-based learning (PBL) by developing and operating real business models.

• Joined the Business Development Team to address negative body image concerns among pregnant women through a socially impactful business model.
• Identified challenges faced by working mothers, including limited maternity clothing options for office wear and the short usage period of maternity clothes.
• Planning to develop an on-demand platform that provides five personalized outfit recommendations based on users’ style preferences, budget, body type, and lifestyle via a short quiz.
• Received training from the SK Happiness Foundation’s program office in IR pitching, business etiquette, social problem definition, and solution design.

• Contributed as a visual content editor to ELFM, a biannual student-run fashion magazine, leading the central feature section that highlights seasonal lifestyle and cultural trends. Independently curated and designed creative content such as fashion item spotlights, cultural commentary, and visual features, including the widely praised issue themed "Oversized It-Bags: The Curated Carry-All"
• Created weekly digital content for ELFM’s Instagram, including designer brand reviews and seasonal product recommendations, with a focus on visual identity and reader relevance.
• Attended a fashion show by Hyeon, a contemporary hanbok brand, and conducted a one-on-one interview with the brand’s CEO and lead designer. The interview and runway impressions were featured as a print article, blending traditional aesthetics with modern fashion naratives.

PEACE Buddy is the official student volunteer organization affiliated with the Office of International Affairs at Ewha Womans University, with over 30 years of history supporting incoming international exchange students. "PEACE" stands for Professional Ewhaians at Cultural Exchange. As a student staff member, I served as a personal buddy to help exchange students navigate campus life and adjust to their new environment.

• Provided one-on-one support and cultural guidance to exchange students from the U.S. and Canada, assisting with campus navigation, daily life challenges (e.g., ID card issues, refund assistance), and adapting to life at Ewha.
• Led campus tours and participated in official PEACE Buddy events such as Movie Day, Sports Day, International Party (I-Party), and K-pop One-Day Dance Class to foster inclusion and cultural exchange.
• Communicated regularly with five assigned exchange students to ensure their well-being and smooth integration into student life.
• Served on the Promotion Team, managing the official PEACE Buddy Instagram account by creating and posting event photos, videos, and Reels tailored to current social media trends.
• Developed skills in visual storytelling, event coverage, and digital content creation aligned with the organization’s tone and branding.

• Led regular team meetings as Senior Manager of the Program Development Team, overseeing workflows and delegating responsibilities to ensure smooth and timely execution of international programs, including both in-person meetings in Korea and international virtual sessions with teams in China and Japan.
• Directed a multicultural team (Korea, China, and Japan) as team leader during the OSAKA SEP(Staff Exchange Program) Business Planning Session on Sustainable Urbanization in East Asia. As the marketing lead, I developed and proposed strategies to increase customer engagement and delivered the final presentation on behalf of the team.
• Planned and hosted the OSAKA SEP Refresh Party as MC, organizing interactive cultural games such as Act It Out and distributing curated Korean snack gift sets.
• Designed and hosted the CJK Membership Program, where I also served as MC, leading the event on-site and facilitating cultural exchange activities among Chinese, Japanese, and Korean staff members.
• Supported on-site operations at OVAL Forums, focused on international business trends and Northeast Asian political affairs, while facilitating smooth coordination of speakers and sessions.

• Conducted in-depth research and co-developed two development project proposals aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• Proposed the project titled “Inclusive Protection and Empowerment for Women and Girls in Quang Ninh, Vietnam”, focusing on SDG 5 (Gender Equality) by developing a culturally adapted recovery tracking system and gender-based violence support model.
• Co-developed the project “Comprehensive Early Warning System to Minimize Flood Damage for All Residents in Conakry, Guinea”, addressing SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), through a dual communication network and community-wide multilingual alert system.
• Collaborated with team members to ensure feasibility, inclusivity, and scalability of proposals, and integrated community-based insights into strategic planning.
• Analyzed ESG integration in development cooperation by examining KOICA’s strategic direction and evolving K-ESG guidelines; presented key insights on aligning public project standards with sustainable governance frameworks.
• Led research on circular transformation in the textile industry using the UNEP Value Chain Approach; proposed actionable strategies for sustainable resource use and stakeholder engagement amid the triple environmental crisis.

VISTA is a student-led English teaching volunteer club under the Division of International Studies at Ewha Womans University.

• Served as a leading teacher, designing and delivering weekly one-hour English lessons for early elementary students (Grades 1–2), focusing on vocabulary building through interactive handouts such as bingo games, word-image matching worksheets, and word searches.
• Incorporated audiovisual materials—including songs and educational videos—to enhance comprehension and keep students engaged through multisensory learning.
• Conducted class wrap-up sessions with fun quizzes and small rewards to reinforce learning and maintain student motivation.
• Acted as a helping teacher by supporting 1–2 students per session, providing simplified Korean explanations and vocabulary synonyms to aid understanding.
• Strengthened student engagement and classroom management skills through personalized instruction and close interaction.

• Led the division for three years, initiating educational campaigns on ESG principles and and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• Participated in weekly study sessions involving research presentations, proposal development, and project implementation related to global sustainability and development issues.
• Studied ESG frameworks with a focus on greenwashing and corporate accountability. Analyzed the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standards and examined countries and corporations failing to comply. Highlighted the need for enforceable international regulations to ensure greater corporate participation in sustainability reporting.
• Developed a student-led social enterprise named Nanchoon (“Warm Spring for Refugees”) in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), supporting economic self-reliance of refugee communities.
• Discovered numerous cases of failure in appropriate technology implementation and investigated underlying causes. Read Small is Beautiful by E.F. Schumacher to explore future directions for sustainable and context-sensitive innovation. Authored a report proposing solutions to the root causes of failure in appropriate technology projects.

• Developed strong research skills by investigating topics thoroughly before composing articles, ensuring credibility and accuracy.
• Wrote both Korean and English-language articles as a youth journalist at Herald Youth Planet.
• Covered key topics such as international development, ESG-driven corporate management, and the phenomenon of aid fatigue through interviews with KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) officials and private sector representatives. Honed journalistic writing and editorial skills, with particular strength in English composition, recognized by the Outstanding Journalist Award.
• Initiated and conducted interviews through cold calling and emailing, significantly strengthening interpersonal communication and professional outreach skills.

• Attended a seminar led by a Canadian Indigenous scholar on the Indian Residential School system, a network of institutions that operated from the 19th century until the late 20th century, aiming to assimilate Indigenous children and now recognized as a form of cultural genocide by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada . Authored a reflective academic essay examining transitional justice and intergenerational trauma resulting from this system, which was published in my school's annual English-language academic journal.

• Participated in a two-year virtual academic and cultural exchange program hosted by a consortium of international high schools in Korea and Japan. Facilitated peer-led discussions on contemporary socio-political issues, education systems, and cultural narratives, fostering intercultural understanding and collaborative dialogue.

• Represented my school as a speaker at the invitation-only National Academic Conference of International High Schools, which brings together top presenters from each school’s English presentation contest. Delivered the opening speech and participated in a panel session titled "Digital Transformation in Education During the COVID Era.
• Presented a critical perspective on surveillance capitalism, mass data collection, and the risk of authoritarian governance emerging through pandemic-related technologies. Emphasized the role of students as active ethical agents in techno-political discourse.

The Travel and Tourism Business Program (TTBiz) is a multinational initiative by JA Korea, Japan, Philippines, and Singapore under JA Worldwide. Students from four countries collaborate to develop and pitch tourism business ideas, fostering global leadership and cross-cultural teamwork.

• As a team leader, structured a large team of 9 members by assigning formal roles and dividing them into three functional sub-groups, which enhanced task efficiency and communication.
• Scheduled and facilitated weekly Zoom meetings; recorded and distributed detailed English meeting minutes to ensure alignment among all team members, including those absent.
• Created and shared step-by-step instructional videos to clarify task instructions and ensure consistent execution across all team members; additionally provided bilingual communication support by translating key materials into Japanese for members unfamiliar with English research sources.
• As chief marketing officer, conducted in-depth market research on the spending behaviors of Korean teenage girls and developed tailored digital marketing strategies aligned with our business model.
• Contacted over 20 hotels and homestays through cold calls and emails to initiate potential partnerships, successfully arranging interviews and business discussions.
• Delivered persuasive English pitches in both the semi-final and grand final rounds, clearly articulating the value proposition and securing strong engagement from the judging panel.
• Assisted the finance team during a critical stage of revenue model development by consulting with an external advisor and conducting independent research through academic articles and business case studies to identify actionable solutions.

• Explored key cases and strategies in global development cooperation. Facilitated discussions and research presentations on topics including the distinction between concessional and non-concessional aid, the rationale for Korea’s grant-based approach through KOICA, and climate-sector development cooperation in Peru.
• Conducted in-depth research on Korea’s Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) and its priority partner countries and the New Southern Policy, as well as its science and technology diplomacy as an ICT powerhouse.
• Authored and presented a policy-oriented academic paper highlighting the potential for Korea to leverage development cooperation as a middle power, proposing strategic directions for its role in the global development architecture.

• Organized and led the annual school-wide book forum, including event scheduling, guest speaker coordination, and live moderation.
• Implemented the Academic Parliamentary Debate (AP Format) to host structured discussions on The End of Poverty by Jeffrey Sachs, focusing on the role of international aid in eradicating extreme poverty. Oversaw logistics, peer engagement, and facilitated the forum as master of ceremonies.
