Highly adept at breaking down instructional steps and providing simple analogies to foster comprehension. Talented at monitoring student growth and offering motivating guidance to struggling students.
Using technology, creativity, and innovation, I strive to contribute new innovative ways to better educational learning for my students. During my experiences with different roles in various institutions, I’ve supervised numerous academic and performance evaluations for teachers and coordinated a great deal of professional development workshops such as Google suite, management software such as ALMA, PowerSchool, and new technology integration. The most important teaching philosophies that I value are engagement and using technology in the classroom effectively.
Currently, I teach IT (Information Technology), Computer Science (Java, Python, JavaScript), and AP classes to Middle and High School students. For IT, Yearly plans and lessons are in line with ISTE & CSTA standards). For Computer Science and AP Computer Science Principles, the languages that I teach are Python, JavaScript, and JAVA. Additionally, I teach Drone enrichment (STEM) where they build drones from scratch (how to build, solder PCB’s, calibrate, program, and fly) as an enrichment. As a co-curricular and to find a common ground with students, I teach Google related platforms, participate in Google Science Fairs, and computer programming competitions.
