I am writing to express my sincere interest in applying for admission to the accounting major at International American University.

After majoring in accounting and business management at Bundang Management High School in Korea, I gained two years and 2 months of professional experience working in the accounting team of a company. As a result, I have developed a strong passion and dedication for the field of accounting.

Throughout my high school education, I consistently achieved top grades in accounting and other business courses, earning an A grade in each instance. This academic success, combined with my practical experience in a corporate accounting setting, has provided me with a solid foundation and a deep understanding of the principles and practices of accounting.

While working on the accounting team at a company in Korea, I decided to pursue higher education and study in the United States. Consequently, I resigned from my job and enrolled in the business administration major at Austin Community College in the U.S. However, my quest for diverse experiences and a desire to broaden my knowledge led me to switch my major to health sciences. While this decision exposed me to a different field of study, it also reaffirmed my belief that accounting major is my true passion.

Due to the experience, I have come to realize that accounting aligns more closely with my skills, interests, and long-term career goals. I am eager to deepen my understanding of accounting principles and contribute to the field through advanced coursework and hands-on experiences. The esteemed accounting program at International American University is my ideal choice for achieving these aspirations.

I am impressed by International American University’s reputation for excellence in accounting education, distinguished faculty, and comprehensive curriculum. I am confident that the program will provide me with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in the accounting profession. Moreover, I am drawn to the diverse and inclusive learning environment at your institution, which I believe will further enrich my educational experience. Before I started my studies in the U.S., I was already building a strong foundation for business. My ultimate goal is to get an CFA after successfully completing my studies at the International American University.
