• Assist in planning designing and coordinating a detailed training plan taking into account the geographic and demographic diversity of province and evaluate the impact of trainings on the need basis
• Under take field visits to develop training plans and monitor them
• Ensure effective implementation of defined strategic goal for institutionalization of the training program
• Assess the level of input, output, results, and their effectiveness in the attainment of the planned results and output of the program as a whole and the different components of the program; Comment on the management of the program, on the coordination between the partners, on decision making process and the monitoring system in place and on the level of participatory interaction among the program's partners and recipients; Recommend a course of action and direction, to ensure that the program objectives, expected results and outputs and/or their modifications, are met during the remainder of program.

• Organize and assist orientation sessions for the provincial/district officials on Disaster Risk Management Planning
• To assist and manage team members and consultants, through developing TORs, managing contracts, and supervising and maintaining reports
• Provide technical inputs to district officer on the process and outcomes of District Disaster Risk Management Plans
• To assist in the preparation of project proposals to support UNDP and NDMAʼs effort for capacity building on DDR through Disaster Risk Management Planning
• To assist for preparation project progress reports for submission to donors as required.
