- Represented POSCO and Korea’s steel industry at global climate summits, presenting the Hydrogen Reduction Steelmaking (HyREX) technology as a breakthrough decarbonization solution for the manufacturing sector.
- At COP28 (Dubai, 2024), she engaged with international leaders including representatives from the World Bank, IEA, and ResponsibleSteel, emphasizing the need for industrial innovation and public-private collaboration to achieve net-zero steelmaking.
- Shared insights on corporate climate action, energy transition, and the importance of scaling up hydrogen-based, low-carbon infrastructure across heavy industries.
- Hydrogen Iron & Steelmaking Forum (HyIS, 2021–2023)
- Participated as a leading organizer and policy advisor in the World’s First International Hydrogen Iron & Steelmaking Forum (HyIS), hosted by POSCO in collaboration with global steelmakers and research institutes.
- The forum gathered over 2,000 participants from 48 countries, including industrial experts, the World Steel Association, IEA, and MPI (Material Processing Institute).
- Advocated for the establishment of a global cooperation platform on hydrogen-based steel technology, influencing carbon neutrality frameworks adopted by international steel bodies.
