I have traveled to 8 different countries so far, and I have developed an international mindset to live in different cultures. Since elementary school to university, I lived in Thailand, a foreign country, and I completed my primary, middle, high school education at an international school with a British curriculum. Then I moved on to a private international college and achieved a bachelor degree of English Communication.
During the time of living for 16 years living in aboard , I have traveled to other Asian countries for a week or a month every year. The most memorable place among them was 'India'. It was a hard time to get on a bus with no air conditioning, a wa bug-infested bed train, eat hot curry and rice with my hands. However, it was a time to experience things that I had never experienced before.
The beginning of the experience in Korean society was to come to Korea at the age of 25 before joining the army and try two different part-time jobs to learn Korean culture and lifestyle. First, the sound company called Team Sound, which has a base in Pyeongtaek and Indeokwon, went out to the field as a trainee for about three months to assist in installing sound equipment for the event, and when I was in the office, I was in charge of communicating with buyers and writing invoices. Second, at the Chanel Logistics Center, which was based in Yeongdeungpo, I classified by code under product packaging for 6 months to learn about logistics management.
In my life so far, I have not faced my own limitations in other experiences and settled down, but rather, I have grown by overcoming the limitations as an opportunity. When I was a senior in high school, my father told me to drop out of school because he couldn't pay for a year's tuition because his financial situation was not stable. It was a very difficult time when I faced such a situation a year before I graduated from high school, but I didn't collapse and started studying for the qualification examination conducted by the British Ministry of Education. At that time, I felt empty and lethargic once in a while. One day, while I was preparing for the qualification exam , an acquaintance felt sorry for me and gave me a gift, which was an acoustic guitar. And that was the changing point, I started to study on my own by holding the guitar in my room besides studying time. After learning and practicing guitar hard for a year, I mastered acoustic guitar and also learned classical guitar. As a result, not only did I pass the qualification exam with a high score a year later, but I was able to donate my talent through guitar. I didn't get a high school diploma, but I got a valuable gift of music instead. With my musical talent, I created a small guitar club when I was in college and taught guitar to Koreans and foreigners who came to study abroad.
When I came to Korea in May 2020, after finishing my long overseas life, I thought a lot about what I could do to live a happy life in the future.
As I thought about it, I wanted to make use of my English skills that I studied at university and I wanted to try something that I had never tried before.
When people first encounter me It looks like there's nothing on the outside, but, I have a perspective, sincerity, and a spirit of challenge to see the world that others have built up through their experiences abroad.
Just as I tried to study English at a young age,
As if you're trying to live in an unfamiliar environment,
Even now, if the field that I am always interested in is a path that I have never experienced or have not been to, I am up for the challenge.
I want to work with a person who is supportive to each other.
