After I went on to major in Korean performing music and drums, I started teaching someone for the first time at the recommendation of the head of the music academy I attended. I knew how to play an instrument, but I had no idea what kind of mind and attitude were needed to teach someone. I just thought it was not difficult to teach as the way I had practiced. After teaching drums one-to-one for several years, I realized that each individual had different reason why they started, the personality, and the tendency, and so on, I prepared a curriculum by observing and thinking about what part each lesson student was interested in. As a result, I found myself enjoying the class and actively changing, and I worked more rewarding in teaching.
After graduating from college, I built my own studio and started taking private lessons and started taking after-school classes at some schools. Group classes were another experience for me, who had only one-on-one classes so far. I was also able to experience new things, such as studying all the musical instrument parts of the band, and I gave students the initiative to select songs so that students could be a little more interested, and arranged songs so that the students could play easier or harder. This gave me an opportunity to improve my teaching skills in various situations and environments.
Based on my experiences so far, I opened my studio based on the slogan "Life Is Sweeter With A Little Music". The moment one learns and plays drums here, I wanted him or her to be happy and enjoyable. As one can have more fun and broad growth with a definite goal, I created and promoted a curriculum that allows even beginners to complete the songs they want to play within 8 weeks. The curriculum included a high-quality videos that I myself did the mixing, filming and editing. And also I planned a annual concerts so that students could feel music as part of their life.
Looking at your company's website after seeing Aureus's announcement, I applied because it was very interesting to see the phrase LOADS OF FUN on the website, which corresponds to my educational view. If there is a chance to work with you, I hope there is a chance for me to go to the bigger world and have fun working! Thank you.
