As someone who has lived across three culturally rich countries (India, the United States, and South Korea) for over 25 years combined, I have developed a uniquely global perspective and deep linguistic fluency in English, Korean, and Hindi. I believe that communication is not just about language proficiency, but about understanding cultural nuance, user expectations, and emotional tone (particularly important in a field like gaming, where user engagement and clarity are critical).
Growing up in India and the U.S. for 15 years, I naturally acquired native-level English fluency. I later pursued engineering studies at Virginia Tech, where I was also part of the Corps of Cadets, taking on leadership responsibilities and working closely with peers from various backgrounds. After returning to Korea, I served as a Military Police Special Duty Team leader in the 6th Infantry Division, extending my service as a Specialist Sergeant. These experiences strengthened my discipline, cultural flexibility, and communication skills in high-pressure environments.
Professionally, I have worked in highly technical, cross-cultural environments, first as a technician at Harley-Davidson Korea, translating real-time technical feedback between foreign clients and engineers, and now as an overseas sales and documentation specialist at H&abyz, a medical device exporter. My role involves not only accurate and efficient technical translation and interpretation (including CE/EU certification, legal agreements, and product manuals), but also conducting video conferences with global clients, managing international exhibitions, and running semi knock-down (SKD) production partnerships with overseas firms. These responsibilities have honed my ability to craft natural, audience-specific English content that balances technical precision with readability.
While my background is rooted in engineering and global sales, what sets me apart is my commitment to clear, culturally attuned storytelling, whether through interpreting a complex regulation for an overseas partner, managing live communication during exhibitions, or refining product documents for English-speaking audiences. This aligns closely with KRAFTON’s pursuit of high-quality global communication and immersive player experience.
What draws me to KRAFTON is not only its global presence and creative influence, but the way it brings stories and worlds to life that resonate with people everywhere. I’d love to be part of that mission, supporting the team with clear, culturally-aware communication that helps KRAFTON connect with players, partners, and communities around the world. I’m excited by the possibility of using my skills in language and cultural understanding in a setting that values both creativity and clarity.
I’m not someone who just translates; I’m someone who tries to make sure nothing important gets lost in translation—whether that’s meaning, intention, or human connection.
I work at H&abyz which is a South Korea-based medical device export company specializing in diagnostic imaging equipment. The company primarily focuses on digital flat panel X-ray detectors, and it actively complies with international medical regulations including EU MDR (Medical Device Regulation) and the Radio Equipment Directive. H&abyz is involved in both direct exports and Semi Knock-Down (SKD) business models to support international production partnerships. With clients and partners across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, the company plays a key role in enabling global access to high-quality, Korean-manufactured medical imaging solutions.
My role as Overseas Business Pro:
