  • Company Overview: A public entity supervising, examining, and taking administrative action against violations of finance-related rules and regulations of financial institutions in Korea.
  • Smoothly soft-landed the PF loan crisis by preemptively strengthening valuation rules of project finance (PF) loan feasibility, inducing strict valuation of all PFs, creating a restructuring manual for bad PF loans, and monitoring the executions (2024).
  • Prevented the bank run of MG Community Credit Cooperatives (MGCCC) by issuing market-stabilizing messages, monitoring liquidities, and inducing merger/contract transition among MGCCCs (2023).
  • Revised a supervisory manual (management status evaluation standards), and adopted 'Loan to Deposit Ratio' to mutual savings bank industry for the first time to serve as effective early warning signs for supervisors (2019-2021)
  • Charged an administrative fine of KRW 7.8 billion on Goldman Sachs International for violation of the naked short selling rule. Upgraded the internal investigation platform. Digitalized and standardized the format of the bank statement (2016-2018).
