As the Team Leader and Product Manager of the Autonomous Research Team, I have successfully led the development of a large commercial ship control product, HiNAS2.0, navigating through certification processes with ABS, DNV, KR, and LR. My responsibilities included managing modules for navigation, collision avoidance, route planning, safety alarms, and map handling. Additionally, I spearheaded the development of control functionalities for a leisure boat solution, encompassing route following, auto-docking, collision avoidance, and route planning.
Previously my joining Avikus, I worked in HD Hyundai Heavy Industry and HD Hyundai Marine Solution and led the development of a smart ship solution, guiding it through rigorous certification processes. My technical expertise spans naval architecture, statistics, machine learning, and ship dynamics.
