Jin Seong Lee

Focused on the aspect of spreading Korean culture and community throughout Munich, Germany through the usage of social media platforms.

• Collaborated with the team to implement marketing campaigns on social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram.
• Generated innovative campaign ideas to drive audience interaction and participation. For example, any special Korean events, ex. Chuseok, our team would discuss and plan strategically on how to bring new faces along with maintaining the current comers.
• Built solid working relationships with internal teams and external clients. When hosting such events, we would collaborate with the, already existing Korean themed parties. Such as the restaurant in Munich named 'Yuyumi' known for amazing Korean food along with the famous K-pop club in Germany, 'Jin Entertainment'.
• Worked with any Korean Universities that offered exchanged programs into Munich (ex, Busan University) so that we could welcome and help those students coming in for the first time.
• During the time of COVID-19, the Korean Embassy has reached out to us on spreading awareness on what not and to do during the time, along with providing evacuation flights for Korea citizens that hoped on going back to Korea (Korean Air does not come into Munich, however during this period of time, permission was granted on coming into Munich for Korean passengers only).

I was elected as the student president in 12th grade during my high school period in Germany.

• Coordinated extracurricular activities to supplement the academic curriculum.. With my experiences in my middle and high school within South Korea, I took the opportunity of implementing the ideas and what my prior school offered that my current school didn't. For example, I would approach students that stood out in certain subjects and would go head on head with them to form a study group that would benefit for both the mentee and mentor.
• Participated in discussions and decisions related to school policies, student well being and extracurricular activities. As the student president, I would organize a day where I would meet up with all class representatives to see how each grade / class were getting along. I would take in notes and report to the principal or the board if problems were in urgent matter.
• Organised activities for students and created welcoming, supportive environments to encourage participation. Every year before the school opens, I would organize and plan with my team on forming an orientation that can be shown and spoke to in front of new students that were coming into our school. We would create events where students and parents could bond with each other during this time along with explaining the potentials that our school and students brought to each individual.
• Brainstormed and executed many school events that brought both joy and bonding sessions with students. Such as carnival fairs, culture and tradition awareness week, school lock down events, collaborating with universities or business people to come in share their experiences.

Learnt and assisted my fellow co-workers on how the system within the company flowed along with brainstorming and providing possible skills that I could've brought towards the company.

• Assisted HR team with general administration and paperwork to maintain optimal processing times. My former senior would provide me with tasks to accomplish in order to bring in more internships that desired on working in Siemens. For example, I would work on PPT presentations that can be shown on special events which talked and explained about the company's vision along with the whom the company seeks. Narrowing the positives of working within Siemens.
• Analysed talent data and reported key insights to senior leaders. As an intern, I would follow with my senior and visit other departments within the company. Learning what each sector did, along with seeing and feeling the atmosphere of how each division went along. I would take notes and report back to my senior on the differences and feelings I received from looking at how each party functioned.

I was elected as the class representative during my 9th and 10th grade middle / high school years in Seoul, South Korea.

• Planned inspiring extracurricular activities for well-rounded student socialization and development. As the class representative, I took charge of helping my fellow classmates on providing and connecting with certain people that needed help within certain criteria that each individual were in need of support. For example tutors or mentors if a student were to be struggling in education wise or get adjusted to the environment.
• Supported school - aged students in academic and extracurricular activities. All sorts of extracurricular activities that were being offered within our school were reported to me. I would take in this information and find time to advertise and recommend to students that fit well.
• Visited different areas of community to spread awareness of activities and show support. Knowing the flow of how the school environment flowed, I would report back to my teacher or the student president in case of urgent matter or actions that needed to be taken or fixed.

Main focus of this group was the help raise awareness of abandoned animals within South Korea, along with providing support to animals shelters that were short in hands.

• Monitored competitor activities, responding creatively to maintain relevancy and competitive edge. We would participate in all fairs that gave out opportunities to share and spread awareness of what each individual foundations were doing. Our team would prepare posters and videos of what and how we were contributing this such organizations. Along with selling custom made T-shirts, food, and other sorts of goodies in order raise charity funds that were later given to the shelters.
• During after school activities, our group would always volunteer on helping, selling, and providing possible needs and wants that others needed.
