As an English instructor for middle school students in Korea,

I played a key role in preparing students for their highly competitive school exams. Since middle school grades significantly impact high school admissions, I ensured that my students had a thorough understanding of the curriculum and exam formats.

Beyond teaching core content, I meticulously reviewed school materials, textbooks, and workbooks to ensure that students did not miss even the smallest details. I customized study plans based on each student’s strengths and weaknesses, providing targeted support to maximize their academic performance. Additionally, I maintained continuous engagement with students, keeping them motivated and focused through structured learning strategies.

One particularly memorable experience was during the first-semester midterm exam in 2024. My students and I had set a goal of scoring above 90, but the results were unexpectedly low, with scores ranging from 60 to 70. After analyzing the test results, we identified that the issue was not intelligence or effort but rather a lack of attention to small but crucial details in the school-provided materials.

Determined to improve, we restructured our approach over the summer break. We focused on precision, discipline, and strategic exam preparation. For the third exam—the second-semester midterms—students and I worked tirelessly, often studying late into the night, exchanging questions and refining our understanding until 4 a.m. just before the test.

The results were transformative—most of my students achieved scores above 90. What stood out the most was the students’ response. The moment they received their scores, they shared the news with me before even telling their parents.

This experience reinforced my belief in the power of persistence, strategic problem-solving, and adaptive learning. I bring this same level of dedication, problem-solving, and commitment to continuous improvement to every challenge I take on.

Although my professional background is in English instruction, I have long been deeply interested in Tesla and the vision of its founder, Elon Musk. Tesla is not just an ordinary company;

it represents a bold step toward the future, driven by innovation, relentless ambition, and a commitment to transforming industries. What sets Tesla apart is not just its groundbreaking technology but the extraordinary mindset and dedication of the people behind it.

For years, I have followed Tesla’s journey through books, interviews, and industry insights, admiring the company’s pursuit of excellence. While Tesla is largely led by engineers, I believe that its success is also driven by individuals who share its mission and contribute in various capacities beyond engineering.

When I saw this opportunity, I realized that there is a role I can play in supporting Tesla’s continued growth.

Elon Musk has faced significant challenges in building Tesla and SpaceX, yet he has overcome them with perseverance, an exceptional team, and an unshakable belief in his mission. I want to be part of that team. Tesla is more than an automaker—it is a force of innovation, much like how the iPhone revolutionized mobile technology. The work being done at Tesla is shaping the future of transportation, energy, and beyond.

I strongly believe that in order to sell a product effectively, one must genuinely believe in its value. I am not only passionate about Tesla’s products but also deeply aligned with the company’s mission to drive sustainable progress. I am fully committed to dedicating my time and efforts to ensuring that more people understand and embrace Tesla’s innovations.
