I was born and only educated in South Korea. I've never experienced overseas education or learning in other schools (language training).
Still, I've got good grades on language sphere because I've learned English differently from others.
I have studied language for three hours per day. First, I read English books. Second, I listened to audiobooks by reading books. Finally, I watched a lot of movies without subtitles everyday. This habit makes me enjoy the learning experience and get good grades on English.
Also, in high school, I majored French. I've got good grades as well as English due to my habit. I adopted the habit same like English so that I was used to learning French and really loved this language and its culture. Therefore, I was the top in my class.
After that, thanks to my background of learning various languages, I can enter Yonsei Univseity, majoring HASS (Humanities, Arts, and Social Science). I was hard at that time because there are many foreign students and students who already learned in foreign high school. This means that they are better at English than me.
Still, I want to overcome this situation and plan the strategies to get honor student award.
For this, when I was freshman, I attended every classes and listened to professors and other colleagues' ideas. Although, I did not get good grades. I never frustrated.
After 1 year, when I was sophomore, I chose my major, Creative Technology Management. And then, I learned Management and IT (python). From the beginning, it was hard to understand the whole things but I reviewed all the time and notetaking the various major fields. Therefore, I got the honor roll.
Then, I was confident about my major and other studies and learned various types of studies in the university, such as Russian, Journalism, and HCI (UX field).
This kind of experience makes me grow up and know many kinds of studies in order to integrate other majors' studies.
Also, I learned other languages like Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Italian and German, in order to work in other countries.
