Jun Young Lee

My major is aerospace engineering, and my current research interest is hypersonic vehicles, especially about “Inlet Unstart” and “Flow Visualization”. I'm looking for a laboratory where I can learn about hypersonic flows and conduct experiments deeply. I became interested in hypersonic vehicles deeply after knowing that hypersonic vehicles (in forms of TBCC or RBCC) are more economical than the current trend of reusable rockets due to their high specific impulse characteristics resulted from in the form of air-breathing engines, and, unlike launch vehicles, they have fewer restrictions on launch sites, making them more efficient means. My longer-term goal is to be an expert in the field of hypersonic flow by getting a Ph. D degree.
