Current Unit: Internal Medicine — Nephrology, Endocrinology & Gastroenterology

• Provide direct patient care for adults with renal, endocrine, and gastrointestinal conditions.
• Monitor patients for acute changes in condition, including respiratory distress, fluid overload, hypotension, and electrolyte imbalances.
• Care for patients requiring oxygen therapy and HFNC, including respiratory assessment, monitoring oxygen requirements, and ABG/VBG collection.
• Prepare patients for hemodialysis and provide care for AV fistulas and temporary and tunneled dialysis catheters.
• Respond to medical emergencies and acute changes in patient condition, initiate nursing interventions, and assist with transfer to a higher level of care when needed.
• Prepare patients for bronchoscopy, ERCP, PTGBD, paracentesis, and bone marrow procedures, and provide pre- and post-procedure care.
• Administer IV medications and manage central lines, PICC lines, and drains.
• Monitor patients receiving chemotherapy and other IV therapies.

Neurosurgical ICU (NSICU) & Medical ICU (MICU)

• Provided nursing care for critically ill patients in the Neurosurgical and Medical ICUs.
• Cared for patients on mechanical ventilation and continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Performed frequent neurological and respiratory assessments and monitored patients for changes in condition.
• Administered IV medications and managed central lines, arterial lines, and other invasive devices.
