To introduce myself, I was born in 1976, and I am a working mom who has been working as a broadcast reporter for 22 years while raising a daughter (currently in 2nd grade) with her husband. I joined YTN through an open recruitment in 2001 and started my first social life. In 2012, when Channel A was opened, I changed my job and I am working at Channel A until now (December 28, 2021). Unfortunately, in my over 20 years of working as a broadcast journalist, I have had few opportunities to upgrade myself academically. U.S. State Department Invitation In May 2010, I was selected as a trainee for the IVLP three-week program and visited the entire US, and in November 2020, while serving as international director, I participated in an Indo-Pacific security field visit at the invitation of the U.S. embassy in Korea. These were the times when I could receive a full education.
Now that I am a senior reporter and manager of an organization, if I can focus on research for one year at USC, a prestigious university in the western United States, I think it will be an opportunity to take a leap forward in designing my future as a broadcast journalist better.
