I am accomplished Executive Director recognized for leveraging strong team leadership and development to drive forward progress. Highly organized, detail-oriented leader skilled in directing high-performing teams to develop solutions and solve operational and technical problems. Success implementing systems across multiple operations with superior organizational and communication skills.
Top-notch [R&D Director] with proven track record of success leading and growing organizations. Also, I had strong background in strategic planning, sales & Marketing, financial management and team development. Skilled in identifying opportunities and implementing practical business strategies with commitment to staying informed about latest trends, technologies and best practices.
For a moment, I look back on my old school days. While attending Boston University's Department of Business Administration, I became aware of the importance of Quality Management (QM) and the need to converge and compromise stakeholders' requirements during product development through the OM323 (Operation Management) course, a required graduation course.
After graduating, I worked at AT&T in the U.S. and then joined the overseas sales & marketing department of LG Electronics. After working as an expatriate in South Africa and Turkey, I first encountered research and product development as a person in charge of OEM business development and operations for HP, Cisco, and Apple.
Since working at LG Electronics, I have become interested in solar PV products that have a similar production method to LCD panels. As a founding member of SenVis Co., Ltd. in 2016, I started researching and developing CMOS-type fingerprint sensors for cell phones and credit cards, and since 2018, I have been working as a founding member of SenVis Co., Ltd. WonKwang S&T obtained direct production certification for solar power generation systems, K mark, Q mark, and NET new technology and other procurement excellent product certifications.
In 2019, a company-affiliated research center was established and a full-fledged national R&D policy related to renewable (solar power) energy was established. We now focus on developing projects and patented products. I have become aware of the difficult environment to recruit construction technician and research technical personnel.
Performing new duties as an executive at a small and medium-sized company, starting with understanding government procurement projects and also for building factories and processes of manufacturing.
carrying out construction for electric and solar power generation projects, and identified the need and recruitment of construction technicians and Research Technicians as well.
Accordingly, in order to foster young talent in the company, we established a work-study parallel system, signed an MOU with Tech University of Korea Engineering and Technology, opened a contract department, and hired three high school students to graduate from university by combining work and study.
In addition, the Carbon Neutral Industry Act has recently been revised in reference to the EPR system and the EU Green Deal industrial plan, simplifying regulations to expand production capacity in eco-friendly industries (solar energy, geothermal heat, wind power, etc.) and supplying them by improving import independence for specific countries. The need for recycling is emerging, including ensuring safety and developing solar energy recycling commercialization technology developed through collaboration with related companies and research institutes.
And interest in environmental issues in the process of module production, equipment, and operation is increasing. There is an LCA that quantitatively evaluates the potential for environmental impact, and the amount of CO2 generated and reduced during the process is measured and evaluated. The recycling process recovers valuable materials, so there is no resource recovery process, so 0.84 tons of CO2 can be reduced, resulting in carbon reduction. I became interested in it because it was deemed essential to prevent environmental pollution.
Therefore, in order to grow into a sustainable, carbon-neutral expert by applying the knowledge and technology gained through research and development and performance of solar module recycling, I will major in “renewable energy” at Korea University’s Graduate School of Energy and Environment (Green School) in August 2023. I am pursuing a Ph.D.
Through 24 years of diverse work experience, I have gained global leadership experience that is applicable to not only Koreans but also overseas local personnel, and I have strengths in IT product marketing and sales and organizational management capabilities.
We always communicate with the organization in harmony with the organization through a sincere, sincere and proactive work attitude with a passion for the mission and business creation. As a life philosophy, I have lived the positive principle that successful business creation and performance are possible even in any harsh environment. With the ability and passion to contribute to the promotion of research and development capabilities and commercialization, we would like to help your company stabilize its organization and strengthen its practical role.
Lastly, I am Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Moreover, I am the Willingness person to working as a team and take on added organization's responsibilities to meet goals.
