I am a skilled Air Force fighter pilot with over 2,300 flight hours and more than 3,000 takeoffs and landings accumulated during my 15 years of service. Currently, I serve as a Captain at Jin Air, where I have logged over 3,200 flight hours on the B737 over seven years, achieving high standards in flight safety and efficiency. Additionally, I have contributed directly to maintaining the airline's safe operations through my work with Jin Air's Flight Standards Group.
• Following my successful Captain upgrade on August 7, 2025, I currently serve as a B737 Captain at Jin Air with over 170 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time. I am fully responsible for the safe, legal, and efficient conduct of each flight, including final authority over flight decisions, crew coordination, and operational risk management.
• I lead the cockpit crew through all phases of flight by applying disciplined decision-making, precise aircraft handling, and strict adherence to SOPs while maintaining a professional and calm cockpit environment.
• I actively manage threat and error management (TEM) and reinforce Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles to ensure clear communication, cross-checking, and effective workload distribution.
• Building on my background in the Flight Standards Group and J-File management, I place strong emphasis on thorough preflight briefing, airport-specific risk awareness, and procedure-compliant operations.
• As a recently upgraded Captain, I continue to refine my leadership in flight operations by balancing operational efficiency with uncompromising safety standards.
