Summary

Professor Park is a researcher with extensive experience in the field of functional cosmetics materials. He was the first in the world to develop mushroom-derived beta-glucan as a cosmetic material at Amore Pacific, a leading Korean cosmetics company. Afterwards, Professor Park also achieved results in the discovery of plant-derived functional genes and the technology transfer marketing of these genes at Genomine, a Korean venture company. Professor Park has been sharing his expertise as a professor in the Department of Bio-Cosmetics at Dongshin University since 2012. He focuses on the development of natural cosmetic materials with anti-aging properties, and as a result, he has published about 20 research papers in SCI journals and transferred 15 technologies to companies, contributing to the industrialization of technology.
