1. Motivation and Career Goals:

Driven by a burgeoning interest in the role of an analyst, I undertook the Investment Asset Management exam. However, I encountered challenges in analyzing companies from a practical standpoint. To address this gap, I actively participated in a finance project at FCB institution, accumulating practical experience in corporate financial analysis.

Devoting over 6 hours daily, I meticulously reviewed Samyang Food's business reports and financial statements to calculate the company's target stock price. This process enhanced my understanding of the significance of accurate research skills in pitching a company.

Drawing from my experiences in the research project, I aim to contribute to the Korelya capital's growth by providing practical data-backed corporate analysis.

2. Strengths and Weaknesses of Character:

One of my character's drawbacks lies in my meticulous nature, leading to a significant time investment in task execution. To improve my English proficiency, I served as an instructor at LST, an English education startup, guiding study sessions for a year. Weekly challenges arose while creating class materials using current affairs and economic articles, revealing a need for more background knowledge.

In a commitment to fortify my understanding of economics and fulfill my sense of responsibility in delivering accurate information, I dedicated myself to the '4D Economists' group. Comprising members with diverse backgrounds in financial institutions, securities firms, and consulting companies, I focused on cultivating economic judgment skills.

Through this experience, I have recognized the need for meticulous research for precise information delivery. I'm confident that my nature will prove advantageous as an RA in compiling and processing data flawlessly.

3. Overcoming Failure:

While managing a yoga academy, I encountered a challenge when misinterpreting customer needs led to the promotion of an ill-suited product, resulting in diminished sales performance. Implementing an SNS marketing strategy to promote the academy, I initially emphasized high-quality aerial yoga classes, neglecting the age and fitness levels of the primary customer base, 40-year-old homemakers.

I created an anonymous suggestion forum to overcome this setback to gather customer feedback. Recognizing the customers' core interests in 'physical fitness improvement' and 'posture correction,' I leveraged these insights to introduce low-impact, stretching-focused aerial yoga classes. The newly launched yoga class satisfied customers and led to a 20-member increase in recruitment compared to the previous month.

This experience highlighted the importance of customer-centric thinking and developing products tailored to customer needs. Drawing upon my crisis resolution skills through two-way communication, I aspire to grow into a professional capable of understanding customer preferences and conveying necessary information effectively.

4. Investment Philosophy:

My investment philosophy focuses on a company's high growth potential and sustained revenue increase. Unlike my initial concentration on short-term price fluctuations in my early personal investment stages, accumulated investment experience has propelled me beyond mere conjecture and intuitive judgments. I now base investment evaluations on meaningful data.

Mainly, I conduct in-depth analyses of how a company's revenue growth is linked to its core competitiveness. When deciding to invest, understanding a company's unique and sustainable position within the market and differentiating its business model from competitors are my priorities. Furthermore, I scrutinize profit growth in terms of numerical increase and delve into the internal and external factors driving this growth.

Believing in the essential nature of this data-driven analysis for deriving stable and sustainable investment outcomes in the long term, I aim to utilize my investment philosophy at Korelia Capital. By formulating effective investment strategies, I aspire to contribute to the creation of sustainable investment returns.
