As an International Aids to Navigation Policy and Technology Development Analyst, my role involves researching and analyzing trends in international Aids to Navigation policy and technology to derive insights for domestic regulations. Additionally, I assess the feasibility of translating and implementing documents from the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA), while participating in conferences, general assemblies, committees, and workshops to gather relevant information and devise strategies applicable to the domestic context.
Also as a part of Official Development Assistance (ODA), I am responsible for assisting in managing and coordinating Aids to Navigation development projects aimed at improving the socio-economic conditions of communities in need, both domestically and internationally. My role involves liaising with government agencies, international organizations, and local stakeholders to identify project needs, secure funding, and oversee project implementation.
