• Lab Description: Lab Description: By injecting pharmacological materials into the brains of mice/rats, create a similar pathological situation as human’s, such as Alzheimer’s, and record their gradual behavior changes via designed computer programs. In addition, see the changes in the brain.
• My overall task is to use different computer programs to record the behaviors of the mice and rats.

• Lab Description: Extract ion channels by using antibodies.
• My overall tasks: cell growth, HPLC, PCR, running electrophoresis, western blotting, autoclaving, making solutions.

-Prepared samples for analysis, including sample filtration, centrifugation, and dilution.

-Performed routine maintenance on lab equipment such as pipetting devices and balances.

-Operated liquid chromatography mass spectrometry systems to analyze chemical compounds in samples.

-Executed cell culture techniques such as aseptic technique, media preparation, cell passaging, cryopreservation, and thawing of cells.

-Carried out protein purification assays including SDS-PAGE electrophoresis.
