Dynamic Music Assistant Professor with a proven track record at Baek-Seok Art University and Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts celling in music theory and performance coaching. Enhanced student musicianship through innovative teaching methods and mentorship, fostering confidence and skill development. Skilled in music score preparation and dedicated to enriching the curriculum with diverse instructional techniques.
Based on the results of my undergraduate and graduate studies at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, this will present a diverse approach to the music of several students and an approach to creative and innovative music.
I taught vocal students about various rhythms and how they can be used.
For example, through the 'Bembe' rhythm, one of the African rhythms, the concept of 4/4 beats was divided into 12/8 beats to guide a flexible approach to the beat.
This made it possible to feel one beat with 8th beat or triplet at once, helping you to phrase freely without being trapped in the beat.
