Work History

Manufacturing Technology Engineer

Hankook Tire and Technology
Daejeon
01.2025 - Current

Since January 2025, I have been working in the Manufacturing Technology role at Hankook Tire & Technology.
My primary responsibilities include improving tire production efficiency and identifying cost-saving strategies by optimizing and enhancing manufacturing processes.

Specifically, I analyze production data to identify inefficiencies in the manufacturing process and design and implement improvements. Additionally, I work on optimizing equipment operation and production conditions to maximize productivity while maintaining quality. Furthermore, I propose and implement new technologies and improvement ideas to reduce manufacturing costs.

Regulatory Analysis Intern

HL Klemove
Seongnam
09.2024 - 12.2024

I worked in the System department of HL Klemove, a subsidiary of HL Mando, from September to December 2024 for approximately four months, focusing on safety-related regulatory analysis in the field of autonomous driving. My primary role involved analyzing and supporting compliance with regulations related to automotive parts manufacturing, particularly in the autonomous driving sector.

My main tasks included researching the latest trends in autonomous driving regulations, analyzing NCAP reports for various vehicles from the Euro NCAP website, and summarizing and translating key Euro NCAP content for my department. Additionally, I was responsible for organizing and analyzing functional specification documents for various components.

Based on these regulatory analyses, I supported product development to ensure compliance with safety standards for autonomous vehicles. I regularly monitored Euro NCAP updates and shared key insights with engineers and researchers in my department, helping them incorporate the latest safety regulations into their ongoing development projects. By proactively identifying potential regulatory gaps in the development process, I contributed to preventing compliance issues and enhancing product safety.

As autonomous driving technology continues to evolve rapidly, related regulations and standards are also constantly changing. To address this, I closely tracked regulatory updates and promptly communicated any new requirements to my team, ensuring that the development team could immediately incorporate these changes. Additionally, I provided administrative support, such as managing snack purchases, to help maintain a smooth working environment.
