majored in aviation maintenance and have real-world experience as an aircraft mechanic in the military and with airlines. Additionally, I have experience in maintaining gas turbine engines, which has provided me with a foundation for performing PR/PO checks on aircraft. Moreover, through dedication, I am adept at teamwork and always possess a proactive attitude towards studying and improving my skills.
My strength is dedication. I strive to achieve teamwork through dedication. Dedication means to dive into the tasks assigned to oneself, even at a loss, and to perform them with sincerity. I believe that an engine mechanic should not just work for a salary but should take full responsibility fo r their assigned duties with a sense of mission. I have experienced achieving teamwork through dedication. During the summer vacation in the drone making club, everyone was reluctant to participate in the test flights that were needed. However, I decided t o join every test flight, thinking, "If it's necessary, I'll do it," even if it meant giving up all my vacation plans.
As a result, we were able to achieve the great feat of winning the beginner's division on our first attempt. However, my weakness is that I tend to be somewhat inadequate when performing tasks for the first time. When I was working at Korean Air and as a military civilian employee, I found new tasks to be challenging. To overcome this, I made efforts to familiarize myself with the manuals a fter work, practiced image training countless times, and also kept a personal notebook to continuously review and master the details related to the tasks even after they were completed. As a result, even as a junior, I was able to perform solo tasks under the guidance of my seniors
and received praise and encouragement. Based on these capabilities, once I become an engine mechanic, I will strive to be a healthy and upright person with a dedicated attitude and an active and proactive stance.
My reason for applying is that the role matches my aptitudes and interests, especially in engine maintenance, which is my preferred duty. Studying aircraft mechanics allowed me to acquire knowledge across a broad spectrum, including reciprocating engines, gas turbine engines, general mechanics, electrical engineering, and menual analysis. Additionally, I've gained practical experience in these subjects through hands on training. During my time at Korean Air's engine workshop, I had a one month field training experience, which included tasks such as the removal and installation of EGT instruments for CFM 56 engines. This training allowed me to observe the entire process from engine intake to dispatch. Furthermore, while serving as a military civilian, I performed maintenance on Allison 250 C18 gas turbine engines, including combustion chamber replacement and compress or cleaning. My academic and practical experiences in aviation engine study and maintenance were both highly rewarding and areas where I excelled and felt confident. Therefore, I believe that the engine maintenance position aligns perfectly with my interests and strengths. Having also experienced line maintenance firsthand in an airline setting, I am confident in my ability to quickly grasp all aspects related to aviation maintenance. also, based on these capabilities and qualities, I aspire to become an " Engine Master" whom everyone wants to work with. To achieve this, my first step will be to adapt to the company culture and systems. Drawing from habits developed during my time at Korean Air and as a military civilian, I will start by reading the assigned work manuals before coming to work, and after completing tasks, I will note down related materials and precautions in my work notebook to improve and perfect my skills for future tasks. This approach will help me quickly attain the technical level require d by the company. Subsequently, I will acquire the necessary certifications and degrees for my role. Additionally, considering the promising future of hybrid electric propulsion systems, I am keen to further my studies in that area. After progressively adv ancing through these stages, my ultimate goal is to become a renowned engine master, enhancing my expertise in my field. During my tenure as a military civilian and at Korean Air, I continuously sought to grow by acquiring job related certifications and up dating my language proficiency scores. Upon joining GE, I intend to continue evolving, striving to become the ideal mechanic. Moreover, beyond professional duties, integrating well with colleagues is also crucial, as I aim to be a person everyone desires t o work with. Successful teamwork is not about individual excellence but collective effort. To this end, I will leverage my dedicated attitude to foster teamwork among my colleagues.
