Sales Manager

Interzero System Co., Ltd.
10.2023 - Current

At Interzero System, I have been responsible for both domestic and international B2B sales, consistently delivering tangible business outcomes. One of my most notable achievements was leading the company’s first participation in the 2024 Battery Show in Detroit, USA. Despite the short three-day schedule, I secured contracts worth over KRW 800 million (approx. $600,000). This was made possible through thorough market research, strategic communication, and active on-site networking. Beyond driving direct revenue, the project contributed significantly to elevating the brand recognition.

Following this success, I also led our participation in the 2025 Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart, Germany. I oversaw booth operations and engaged in active dialogue with local customers, resulting in meaningful leads and business development.

Beyond trade shows, I have gained hands-on experience through overseas fieldwork. I spent over six months stationed at a construction site in Indiana, USA, serving as a coordinator between local teams and our headquarters. By fostering trust and open communication across cultural and generational boundaries, I ensured smooth project execution. When faced with unexpected technical challenges, I worked closely with U.S. technicians and our R&D teams in Korea to devise and implement rapid solutions, playing a key role in bringing the project back on track.

To support the company’s technology development, I have also taken the initiative in identifying and partnering with European firms. Through business trips to Germany and the Czech Republic, I successfully built strategic partnerships based on trust. I also led the preparation of technical proposals tailored for major domestic clients, demonstrating my ability to align global resources with local needs.

In addition to sales and fieldwork, I have been actively involved in managing overseas subsidiaries and handling cross-border logistics. I’ve worked as the primary point of contact with legal and tax advisors for our U.S. and Hungarian entities and have overseen international shipping and documentation for exports to the U.S. and imports from Sweden and Japan. During the setup of our Indonesian subsidiary, I participated in on-site meetings in Jakarta and supported local partner sourcing.

While my past roles may not be in the same industry as Amazon, my hands-on experience in overseas B2B sales across the U.S. and Europe has helped me develop strong market analysis and communication skills. These skills are transferable and have enabled me to quickly adapt and succeed in new sectors. I’m confident in my ability to contribute to Amazon’s momentum and localization strategies from day one.

My academic background in foreign language high school and at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies has further nurtured my cross-cultural understanding and global communication capabilities. It helped me connect naturally with international partners. From an early age, I’ve maintained close friendships with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, enhancing my cultural sensitivity and interpersonal flexibility.

I have visited over 20 countries through both business and personal travel, which has broadened my worldview and cultural awareness. These experiences have instilled in me a deep curiosity and adaptability, enabling me to independently seek opportunities and execute initiatives even in unfamiliar markets. My international experience, combined with a solution-oriented mindset, has shaped me into someone who thrives in change and challenges.

In smaller teams as well, I’ve demonstrated leadership and collaboration. I led a hip-hop club during high school and college, resolving conflicts and fostering teamwork. This skills now help me navigate diverse organizational dynamics in global environments.

During my military service as a Ranger near the DMZ, I developed strong resilience and mental discipline. The intense training and real operations taught me how to stay calm and focused under pressure. This continues to serve me well in high-stakes business situations.

I believe that "opportunity comes to those who are prepared." With this mindset, I have continuously honed my practical skills and cultural insight. I am eager to bring this drive and versatility to Amazon, where I aim to contribute to creating customer value and advancing global business goals.
