Taewoo Kim

Driven by a passion for innovation at Samsung Electronics, I spearheaded the projects related to the Wallet service standardization that were assigned to me and delivered great outcome. This resulted in high mark for the assessment at the end of my second year at Samsung, which was considered to be an exceptional since most of the employers receive high mark much later in their career. Also, during the internship program, I adjusted the value of UWB azimuth using machine learning algorithm and managed to write a paper about UWB as a service in a smartphone with the colleagues for IEEE GLOBECOM, showcasing my commitment to the work at graduate school.

Throughout my work at Samsung Research, I have filed four commercial patents as a main inventor in the field of telecommunication. Out of four, one patent is under USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) revision.
