Work History

Registered Nurse, Cancer Ward

National Cancer Center
07.2019 - 08.2024
  • Prevented the spread of infections by consistently adhering to strict infection control protocols and educating patients on proper hygiene practices. Examples include COVID patient management, CRE, and C. difficile.
  • Enhanced patient satisfaction by providing compassionate, holistic nursing care that addressed physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. It was found that the emotional support of cancer patients was a very important part. While there were cases where surgical treatment was possible, the severity varied from patients who were on the verge of death to patients with limited time. Supporting the emotional aspects of patients and caregivers on the verge of death could increase the will to the rest of the treatment process.
This hospital didn't have any particular religious characteristics, and there was a time limit for nursing to meet the patient's spiritual needs. But I remember one Saturday day when I had a relatively spare time. It was the day I prayed together for a patient in a single room who was listening to CCM. I saw his inner fear and prayed for that fear. The patient thanked me deeply a few months later when he was admitted to chemotherapy.
  • A total of four times, Assisted in the training and mentorship of new nursing staff members, contributing to a positive work environment and high-quality patient care. Training at the new teacher's eye level gave me an opportunity to study more, and through four mentoring processes, I was able to wait for the new teacher's speed and develop patience.
