Academic Planning

• Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) as a tool to deliver course content and maintain relevance and currency.
• Partner with the Assistant Dean, Associate Dean, or Dean to review and revise course syllabi and instructional guidelines to English major courses and syllabi to new Korean National Competency Standards
• Act as subject matter expert for assigned subject areas by planning, developing, and implementing strategies to convey information with key decision-makers about business english classes and interview tips

Instruction

• Maintain a teaching load of 16-semester credits per academic year to remain current in subject matter expertise.
• Exercise direct oversight of established teaching criteria and procedures, curriculum design, and operation of general education course offerings.
• Maintain a diverse teaching methodology utilization to drive continuous quality improvement.
• Use variety of learning modalities such as to facilitate learning process and accentuate presentations, including visual, aural and social learning modalities such as Peardeak, Padlet and Kahoot!

Orientation and Mentorship

• Participate in the recruitment, selection, evaluation, and in-service training of general education faculty.
• Deliver and evaluate teacher onboarding and teacher retention plans.
• Provide direct mentorship of beginning teachers of general education course

Retention

• Track and monitor student retention using academic reports
• Implement data-driven student retention improvement strategies to achieve department benchmark

• Blended Chief Sustainability Officer Certificate (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)
• Head of Sustainability and Business Development to offset carbon emissions to support Korean corporations such as Hyundai Steel, Hyundai Car, POSCO, Samsung, K Water, Hyundai Green Power, Hyundai Car, Delta Airlines and many more.
