
My research aims to understand the pathogenesis and host immune response to vector-borne disease and emerging infectious disease, including scrub typhus, SFTS (Severe Fever with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome) and respiratory coronaviruses such as SARS-CoV-2. Other areas of interest include identification of novel biomarkers and effective vaccine antigens against infectious disease.
